How the move works

Connecting a marketplace does not change your live listings. Nothing is written to a channel until you publish, switch on stock sync, or choose to update products you already have.

Connect your marketplaces

Connect Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify by signing in on each marketplace. You never give us your marketplace password.

Bring your listings in

Import the listings you already have from those marketplaces, or upload the CSV or XLSX file you exported from Linnworks (up to 20,000 rows or 25 MB). Products are matched by SKU.

Review, then publish

AI suggests how your columns match marketplace fields, and picks categories and attributes. You check the mapping, approve each product in Needs review, then publish.

Before you start

What to take from Linnworks before you change anything.

  1. Export your products with the Export button on the My Inventory screen. Linnworks notes that channel descriptions cannot be exported this way. (Linnworks help)

What MarketplaceHub brings

Automated data entry

AI picks the marketplace category for each product and fills in its attributes from your product data, so you check values instead of typing them in. You review every product before anything is published.

AI column mapping

Upload a file with your own column names. AI suggests how each column matches a marketplace field, and you confirm or change it.

One import pipeline

CSV or XLSX upload, a URL we fetch, a JSON endpoint, your SFTP folder with us, or a connected store. Recurring sources re-import on a schedule.

Your listings stay yours

MarketplaceHub does not hold your listings hostage. If you disconnect your store or cancel your account, our syncing simply stops. Your live listings on Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify remain active and completely untouched. Once syncing stops, stock is no longer kept in step between channels, so watch for overselling.

Is MarketplaceHub a fit?

MarketplaceHub works with four channels: Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify. Orders from all four come into one queue. Amazon, eBay and Shopify orders can be shipped, cancelled or refunded there; Etsy orders can be shipped.

Good fit if

  • You want listings, stock sync and orders in one place.
  • You want AI help to build listings, and to review every product before it goes live.

Not a fit if you rely on

  • Warehouse management: picking, packing and shipping from your own warehouse
  • Running stock across your own warehouse, a 3PL or dropship suppliers
  • Selling on Walmart, TikTok, Temu, SHEIN, B&Q or Mirakl marketplaces
  • A BigCommerce store
  • A QuickBooks Online connection

What comes across

  • Your listings on Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify. They are read from the marketplace itself, not from your old tool.
  • Variations: an Etsy listing comes in as one product with its variations. From Amazon, eBay and Shopify, each variation (or ASIN) comes in as its own product with its own SKU, stock and price.
  • Products from a CSV or XLSX file: one product per row, from the columns you map, matched by SKU. Add variants afterwards in MarketplaceHub.
  • Not included: anything that exists only inside your old tool, such as its settings, templates, rules or reports. Set up what you need again in MarketplaceHub.

01 How long does the move take?
It depends on the size of your catalogue. A file import runs in the background, in batches, with progress you can watch. We do not promise a fixed time.
02 Do my live listings go offline?
Connecting a marketplace and importing do not take your listings down: MarketplaceHub reads them from the marketplace. What Linnworks does to your listings when you disconnect it or cancel is up to Linnworks, so check its help before you cancel.
03 What happens to my listings if I leave MarketplaceHub?
MarketplaceHub does not hold your listings hostage. If you disconnect your store or cancel your account, our syncing simply stops. Your live listings on Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify remain active and completely untouched. Once syncing stops, stock is no longer kept in step between channels, so watch for overselling.
04 What if my SKUs are different?
Products are matched by SKU. A product whose SKU does not match comes in as a new product, so line your SKUs up before you import if they changed between tools.
05 Can I run both tools at the same time?
Yes, if you decide which system owns what. In source of truth you choose who owns your catalogue, prices, stock and orders, and MarketplaceHub does not overwrite what another system owns. Do not let two tools sync stock to the same listing.
06 What about orders?
Amazon, eBay, Shopify and Etsy orders are pulled with their full status history into the order queue. Amazon, eBay and Shopify orders can be shipped, cancelled or refunded there; Etsy orders can be shipped, because its API is read-only for payments.
07 Which channels do you support?
Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify. If you sell on another channel through Linnworks, MarketplaceHub cannot take that channel over.
08 I use Linnworks to pick and pack. Can MarketplaceHub do that?
No. MarketplaceHub confirms shipments with tracking and prints packing slips, but it is not a warehouse system. Your own warehouse system can handle fulfilment through our API.
