01 Is it safe to connect my Etsy shop?
Yes. The connection uses Etsy's OAuth flow — you sign in on Etsy and approve a scoped, revocable token. We never see your Etsy password, and you can disconnect from your Etsy account settings or from MarketplaceHub at any time.
02 Will MarketplaceHub ever delete my Etsy listings?
No. We are not the system of record for your shop, so we never delete listings. When a product is withdrawn we set the listing to inactive, which hides it from buyers while leaving it — and its history — in your Etsy account, ready to be reactivated.
03 Do I need a shipping profile?
For physical items, yes — Etsy allows a listing to be created without one but will not let it go live until a shipping profile is attached. We read the profiles already set up in your shop so you can pick one when publishing.
04 Can I import the listings I already have?
Yes. We pull your existing listings with their images, variants, SKUs, quantities and prices. Anything with a SKU is matched to your master catalog so it shares one stock level with the same product on your other channels.
05 How are Etsy's category attributes filled in?
We import Etsy's seller taxonomy and the properties each category requires, including which are mandatory and what values they accept. Our AI fills them from your product data, and anything it can't determine is listed for review before publishing rather than being guessed.
06 Does it handle Etsy orders?
Not yet. Today the Etsy integration covers listings, inventory and pricing — importing your shop, publishing products and keeping price and stock in sync. Order management for Etsy is on the roadmap.
