How connecting works

Connected in three steps

No developer account and no API keys. Just your Etsy sign-in.

    Authorise your shop

    Sign in on Etsy and approve access. Etsy gives us a token scoped to managing your listings. You can revoke it from your Etsy account settings whenever you like.

    Import and match

    Your listings come in and are matched to your master catalog by SKU. An Etsy item and its Amazon or eBay twin become one product with one stock level.

  3. 3

    List and keep in sync

    Publish new products to Etsy from the catalog. Then price and quantity updates run on their own as you sell across channels.

The connection uses Etsy's OAuth flow. You approve a scoped, revocable token. We never see your Etsy password.

We use only Etsy's documented API. We do not scrape etsy.com. Your token is used only to run your shop, within the access you approved, and is never shared.

Disconnect at any time

From your Etsy account settings or from MarketplaceHub. The token is destroyed and we stop calling Etsy for your shop.

Etsy has its own rules about categories, attributes and shipping. We handle them, so your listings go live complete.

Attributes that pass

We import the properties each category requires and the values they accept. AI fills them from your product data. Anything it cannot work out is listed for review, not guessed.

Etsy will not let a physical item go live without one. We read the profiles already in your shop, so you pick one when you publish.

Is it safe to connect my Etsy shop?
Yes. The connection uses Etsy's OAuth flow. You sign in on Etsy and approve a scoped, revocable token. We never see your Etsy password, and you can disconnect from your Etsy account settings or from MarketplaceHub at any time.

Will MarketplaceHub ever delete my Etsy listings?
No. We are not the system of record for your shop, so we never delete listings. When a product is withdrawn, we set the listing to inactive. That hides it from buyers but leaves it, and its history, in your Etsy account, ready to be switched back on.

Do I need a shipping profile?
For physical items, yes. Etsy lets a listing be created without one, but will not let it go live until a shipping profile is attached. We read the profiles already set up in your shop, so you can pick one when you publish.

Can I import the listings I already have?
Yes. We pull your existing listings with their images, variants, SKUs, quantities and prices. Anything with a SKU is matched to your master catalog, so it shares one stock level with the same product on your other channels.

How are Etsy's category attributes filled in?
We import Etsy's seller taxonomy and the properties each category requires, including which are mandatory and what values they accept. Our AI fills them from your product data. Anything it cannot work out is listed for review before you publish, rather than guessed.

Does it handle Etsy orders?
Yes. Your Etsy orders come into the same order queue as every other channel, with their status. Confirming a shipment sends the tracking back to Etsy. Cancellations and refunds are the exception: Etsy's API is read-only for payments, so those stay in your Etsy dashboard. See Etsy orders.
