The move

Three steps, and nothing goes live until you say so

Connecting a marketplace does not change your live listings. Nothing is written to a channel until you publish, switch on stock sync, or choose to update products you already have.

  1. 1

    Export from LitCommerce

Export your products: select them, then Actions > Export Products, and choose the columns you need. LitCommerce help

LitCommerce says that deleting your store leaves the products and orders on your sales platforms unaffected, and that deleting a sales channel only deletes the connection. Your listings stay on the marketplaces while you move. LitCommerce help

  2. 2

    Connect and import

Connect Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and Google Merchant Center by signing in on each one. You never give us your marketplace password.

Import the listings you already have from those marketplaces, or upload the CSV or XLSX file you exported from LitCommerce (up to 20,000 rows or 25 MB). Products are matched by SKU.

  3. 3

    Review, then publish

AI suggests how your columns match marketplace fields, and picks categories and attributes. You check the mapping, approve each product in Needs review, then publish.

What comes across
  • Your listings on Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify. They are read from the marketplace itself, not from your old tool.
  • Variations: an Etsy listing comes in as one product with its variations. From Amazon, eBay and Shopify, each variation (or ASIN) comes in as its own product with its own SKU, stock and price.
  • Products from a CSV or XLSX file: one product per row, from the columns you map, matched by SKU. Add variants afterwards in MarketplaceHub.
  • Not included: anything that exists only inside your old tool, such as its settings, templates, rules or reports. Set up what you need again in MarketplaceHub.

Your listings stay yours

MarketplaceHub does not hold your listings hostage. If you disconnect your store or cancel your account, our syncing simply stops. Your live listings on Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify remain active and completely untouched.

Once syncing stops, stock is no longer kept in step between channels, so watch for overselling.

Is it a fit for you?

MarketplaceHub works with five channels: Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and Google Merchant Center. Orders from Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify come into one queue; Google Merchant Center has no orders of its own. Amazon, eBay and Shopify orders can be shipped, cancelled or refunded there; Etsy orders can be shipped.

A good fit if

  • You sell on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify or Google Merchant Center, or on several of them.
  • You want listings, stock sync and orders in one place.
  • You want AI help to build listings, and to review every product before it goes live.

Not a fit if you rely on

  • Selling on Walmart, Temu, TikTok Shop or Reverb
  • Selling on Faire or Facebook Shops
  • A Wix, BigCommerce or WooCommerce store
  • Google Merchant product feeds

Questions about moving

About moving from LitCommerce.

Still wondering?

Our team replies within a few hours, Mon–Fri.

How long does the move take?

It depends on the size of your catalogue. A file import runs in the background, in batches, with progress you can watch. We do not promise a fixed time.

Do my live listings go offline?

Connecting a marketplace and importing do not take your listings down: MarketplaceHub reads them from the marketplace. What LitCommerce does to your listings when you disconnect it or cancel is up to LitCommerce, so check its help before you cancel.

What happens to my listings if I leave MarketplaceHub?

MarketplaceHub does not hold your listings hostage. If you disconnect your store or cancel your account, our syncing simply stops. Your live listings on Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify remain active and completely untouched. Once syncing stops, stock is no longer kept in step between channels, so watch for overselling.

What if my SKUs are different?

Products are matched by SKU. A product whose SKU does not match comes in as a new product, so line your SKUs up before you import if they changed between tools.

Can I run both tools at the same time?

Yes, if you decide which system owns what. In source of truth you choose who owns your catalogue, prices, stock and orders, and MarketplaceHub does not overwrite what another system owns. Do not let two tools sync stock to the same listing.

What about orders?

Amazon, eBay, Shopify and Etsy orders are pulled with their full status history into the order queue. Amazon, eBay and Shopify orders can be shipped, cancelled or refunded there; Etsy orders can be shipped, because its API is read-only for payments.

Which channels do you support?

Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and Google Merchant Center. If you sell on another channel through LitCommerce, MarketplaceHub cannot take that channel over.
